Bipolar Chat Room Tips For Newcomers

Most people when they first join a bipolar chat room have several concerns and questions. Because of this I am going to share with you a few tips for using bipolar chat rooms.

First off, a bipolar chat room can provide you with great benefits no matter what your present condition may be. It doesn’t really matter if you are a manic, depressed or just plain silly, in a bipolar chat room you will be able to find somebody to talk it over with.

When you first log on to a bipolar chat room you can just listen to other people chat. You can then chat with other roommates and share what is on your mind. Bipolar chat rooms will always provide you with great support when you are in need.

Sometimes, just logging into a bipolar chat room can make you feel so much better as the feeling that you are all alone out there disappears. There are a lot of chatters who do this, they just log on and read the others chat.

Although you generally don’t have to worry about this, you will sometimes come across that one individual that just seems to push your buttons. If this happens to you, don’t sweat it, just click the “ignore button” in the bipolar chat room. This will block what that person is writing from you and it will block what you are writing from them.

If you are completely new to online chat then you will need to familiarize your self with the common chat lingo.

Some of the common acronyms that you will see in a bipolar chat room that you won’t see any where else are:

  • PDOC = Psychiatrist
  • TDOC = Therapist
  • LMBPAO = Laughing my bipolar ass off

Then there are the other types of acronyms that are common to all chat rooms like:

  • CYL = See you later
  • BRB = Be right back
  • GTG = Got to go
  • LOL = Laugh out loud
  • ((( ))) = Cyber hug

One thing that you must also understand is that a bipolar chat room has its own set of rules, etiquettes and guidelines. This is very important to understand. Most bipolar chat rooms only have hosted chat during schedule times of the day. During these times a host will be there to help keep the rooms respectful however they can’t be there 24 hours a day. It is up to everyone that joins a bipolar chat room to keep it respectful and encouraging.

When you enter a bipolar chat room you should make sure that you enter a nickname, other chatters will respond to you better. Also if you use the same nickname every time you sign in you will begin developing a bond with all of the other loyal chatters.

When you log into the bipolar chat room for the first time, do not be overwhelmed if you receive a ton of hellos. This is a normal way of acknowledging your arrival. You can just sit back and watch for a little first, it is not necessary to respond right away.

Bipolar chat rooms are created for people that are effected by bipolar disorder for support. this includes everyone that is affected by bipolar including the family and loved ones of a bipolar sufferer. If you are looking for support, even it’s 2 am, try a bipolar chat room.
